Villas and homes,looked after.

Regular and deep cleaning, changeovers, and care through the winter. Villas, holiday lets and homes across Corfu.

How I work

  • I price it after I have seen it

I come out and walk the property with you before quoting. A phone call misses too much: the state of the floors, the way the linen is handled, how many bathrooms there actually are.

  • The same person every visit

I learn a property the first time I clean it. Which shutter sticks, which surfaces will not take bleach, where the spare linen is kept. You go through it once.

  • Keys under a written agreement

The agreement records what I hold, how it is stored and how it comes back. Keys are kept unlabelled and separately from any address.

Cleaning services in Corfu

A house lived in all year usually wants a regular clean, with a deep clean once or twice on top. A property that is let runs on a different rhythm: changeovers through the summer, opening in spring, closing in autumn, and a standing visit over the winter.

  • A kitchen after a changeover: marble worktop bare and gleaming, china stacked square

    Holiday let changeovers

Between one guest and the next, for villas and apartments let on Airbnb or Booking. Full clean through, beds stripped and made up, bathrooms reset, kitchen emptied and scrubbed, terrace and pool surround swept. Photographs when I lock the door.

  • Regular house cleaning

Weekly or fortnightly, on the same day each time. For houses that are lived in rather than let.

  • Deep cleaning

Limescale, the oven, inside the cupboards, behind the fridge. Once or twice a year, on top of the regular visits.

  • Opening and closing the season

A villa or holiday home brought out of winter in spring and shut down properly in autumn. Covers off and on, shutters and glass done, every room aired and gone over before the first arrival.

  • A Corfu house closed for winter: shutters latched, furniture under clean covers, swept stone

    Through the winter

Scheduled visits to a property standing empty. Aired, checked for damp and leaks, post collected. You get a note after each visit.

The state I leave it in

Four rooms, on the morning of an arrival.

A villa bedroom made up for an arrival: pressed white linen, squared pillows, shutters open to the sea

Bedrooms

Linen pressed and folded back, pillows squared, nothing of the last guest anywhere.

Living room

Every surface dusted, the stone floor washed and dry, cushions set, doors open to the terrace.

Bathrooms

Glass clear with no watermark, brass polished, grout scrubbed rather than painted over.

Terrace

Salt and dust off the stone, cushions squared, towels rolled, the pool surround dry.

Before and after

A real changeover, photographed on the morning it was done: the same two rooms and the same floor, before the work and after it.

A studio kitchen the morning the guests left: empty water bottles and mugs along the counter, a used cloth, grime in the sink and the cupboard under it standing openThe same kitchen after cleaning: the counter bare, the sink scoured back to the steel, the drainer stacked square, the hob wiped down and the cupboard shutBeforeAfter

Kitchen

Everything washed and put away, the bottles and the cloths gone, the sink scrubbed out and the drainer emptied. Coffee and the kettle set ready for whoever arrives next.

BeforeAfter

Bedroom

Bed stripped and made up with pressed linen, towels rolled at the foot, the bedside drawer closed and the used towels away. Flowers and the welcome card back on the dressing table.

BeforeAfter

Floor

The grout scrubbed out rather than painted over, joint by joint. Same tiles, same floor, photographed from the same height so the only thing that changes is the colour of the lines.

How pricing works

A visit first, then a number

  1. I come and see it

We walk the property together, or I meet whoever holds the keys. Half an hour is usually enough.

  2. You get one price, in writing

A fixed price for the work we agreed. It changes only if the property or the work does, and I tell you before that happens.

  3. Then it runs to a schedule

Changeover dates set for the season, or a standing visit through the winter. I tell you before anything moves.

Who I work for

Villas, houses and apartments

Villas are the biggest part of the work and the most demanding. Holiday lets, village houses and town apartments run alongside them through the year.

The property makes no difference to who turns up or to the standard. The price is worked out the same way for all of them.

  • Villas, whether they are let or kept for the family
  • Holiday apartments and rooms on a changeover schedule
  • Village houses lived in all year
  • Town apartments, and cleaning before or after a move

Tell me about
the property.

Where it is, what kind of place it is, and what you need done. I will come and see it, and you will have a price in writing afterwards.
